Visakha Container Terminal handles record 108 Out-of-Gauge containers in single vessel operation

Visakha Container Terminal has successfully handled its highest-ever volume of Out-of-Gauge cargo in a single vessel operation, marking a significant milestone in its project cargo handling capabilities.

The operation was carried out for M/s. Saatvik Solar’s Gopalpur plant project aboard the break bulk vessel M.V. Hong Yao, with 108 Out-of-Gauge 40-FEU containers safely discharged.

The achievement reflects the team’s meticulous planning, close inter-departmental coordination and precise execution, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of this specialised cargo.

This milestone reinforces Visakha Container Terminal’s capability to manage high-volume Out-of-Gauge cargo operations and support the evolving logistics requirements of major industrial projects.
