The V.O. Chidambaranar (VOC) Port Authority, Tuticorin, has embarked on a major digital transformation with the rollout of its Digital Twin project—an initiative set to modernise and future-proof port operations.

The project will develop a comprehensive virtual model of the port’s infrastructure, equipment, and operational workflows. By enabling real-time visibility, predictive insights, and data-driven decision-making, the Digital Twin is expected to significantly boost operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability across the port ecosystem.

Scheduled for completion by March 2026, the initiative marks a major milestone in VOC Port’s evolution into a smart, technology-led maritime hub.
