V.O. Chidambaranar Port’s state-of-the-art Marshalling Yard at Tuticorin has enabled the rail dispatch of 100 VinFast electric vehicles to Ballabhgarh, Haryana, marking a proud logistics milestone in the port’s growing automobile handling capabilities.

How were the vehicles transported?

The consignment was moved aboard the newly introduced NMG, or Newly Modified Goods, wagons, reflecting the port’s push to adopt modern rail infrastructure for automobile logistics. The dispatch was flagged off in the presence of Sanjiv Garg, IRTS, former additional member, Railway Board, Sriram V, IRTS, Former Director, IRCTC, along with officials from VinFast and V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority.
