Western Carriers India Limited (WCIL) has secured a logistics contract worth approximately ₹558 crore from Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL). The contract spans three years and covers the movement of stainless-steel products across the country. Under the agreement, Western Carriers India will handle the dispatch of slabs, coils, and sheet plates in DSO containers to various destinations across India.

Western Carriers (India) is a multi-modal, rail-focused, 4PL asset-light logistics company. It offers fully customisable, multi-modal logistics solutions encompassing road, rail, water, and air transportation and a tailored range of value-added services. Over the years, the company plans to enhance its service delivery through robust growth and operational efficiency. Western Carriers (India) was incorporated in March 2011. Some of its key customers are Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, Vedanta, BALCO, HUL, Coca-Cola India, Tata Consumer Products, Wagh Bakri, Cipla, Haldia Petrochemicals, MCPI, Gujarat Heavy Chemicals, BCPL, and DHL, among others.
