ZPMC (Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries) has completed the handover of a 6,600 tonnes per hour (TPH) ship loader at Adani Ports’ Dhamra Port in Odisha. The high-capacity loading system is designed to rapidly transfer bulk cargo from storage to vessels, significantly boosting the port’s throughput capacity for commodities like coal, iron ore and other bulk materials.

The ship loader is a key piece of equipment for Dhamra Port’s bulk cargo operations, enabling faster loading cycles and improved port efficiency. With its 6,600 TPH capacity, the loader will help the port handle larger volumes of cargo and support growing trade on India’s east coast.

The installation marks ZPMC’s continued presence in India’s port machinery sector, where the Chinese manufacturer supplies bulk cargo handling equipment to major ports across the country.
