JNPT Deputy Conservator, Captain Amit Kapoor graced the sixteenth cricket championship trophy organized by Maritime Association of Nationwide Shipping Agencies that commence on March 9.
The tournament is being played on week-ends and the final match will be played on April 13.
This tournament follows cricket contest held last month with the operational group members of ship agent members working at Mumbai Port.
The JNPT leg is an extension of the Mumbai leg of the tournament in terms of getting together from the daily grind and being physically fit in otherwise stressful professional life. The spirit from the sporting activity can be generously be extended to personal and professional life is the overall objective of MANSA behind holding these tournaments, said Captain Amit Wason, President, MANSA.
