30,000+ TEUs milestone: TICT, Berth No. 9

V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority is pleased to mark a significant milestone achieved by Tuticorin International Container Terminal (TICT), which has crossed the 30,000 TEU mark in a single month for the first time since commencing operations in September 2024.

This achievement reflects the strong coordination, operational support and close partnership between VOCPA and TICT. The milestone is especially significant as it comes in the same month that VOC Port successfully berthed the longest-ever vessel in its history, making September 2026 a notable month for container operations at the port.
