Allcargo Logistics Limited reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹33 crore for the first half of FY27, marking a turnaround of ₹48 crore compared with the corresponding period last year. The company also recorded a 12% year-on-year increase in gross profit and a 7.1% rise in revenue during H1 FY27.

For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, the integrated logistics provider reported a PAT of ₹19 crore, compared with a loss of ₹5 crore in Q2 FY26, representing a 487% year-on-year improvement. Revenue increased 3.4% during the quarter, while gross profit grew 13%. EBITDA rose 24% year-on-year in Q2 FY27 and 31% in H1 FY27.

The company attributed the improvement in profitability to pricing discipline, cost recovery and operational efficiencies across its Domestic Supply Chain, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics businesses. Its EBITDA margin for H1 FY27 stood at 13.4%.

Allcargo Logistics also reported a pre-exceptional profit before tax (PBT) of ₹24 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹9 crore in the same quarter last year, representing a 167% increase.

In Express Distribution, shipment volumes remained broadly stable sequentially at approximately 3.11 lakh tonnes in Q2 FY27, against 3.12 lakh tonnes in Q1 FY27. The company said customer segmentation initiatives, loyalty programmes, service improvements and network optimisation are among the measures being implemented to support volume recovery and improve yields.

In Consultative Logistics, quarterly revenue increased by ₹9 crore year-on-year, supported by higher throughput from existing customers. Improved warehouse utilisation, cost optimisation and the recovery of additional costs from customers also contributed to margin improvement.

Commenting on the performance, Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Allcargo Logistics Limited, said, “Our overall H1FY27 performance demonstrates a continued progress in strengthening the fundamentals of our domestic logistics business. The improvement in profitability and margins underlies the benefits of pricing discipline, cost recovery and process optimisation.

In Express Distribution, while growth moderated during this quarter, we adopted measures to improve customer engagement, service quality and network efficiency. Our goal now is to leverage this customer centric service delivery to drive volume growth while maintaining the pricing gains achieved over the past few quarters.

As we have entered the festive season, we are witnessing a recovery in volumes and expect this momentum to continue. In Consultative Logistics, higher volume from existing customers, improved warehouse utilisation and tighter cost management are supporting margins.

In H2FY27, profitable growth along with revenue expansion remains our priority. To attain that, we will continue to our three-pronged strategy – further improving service levels, increasing capacity utilisation and reducing operating costs.”

Looking ahead, Allcargo Logistics reported that it is witnessing a recovery in volumes with the onset of the festive season and expects the momentum to continue. In Consultative Logistics, higher volumes from existing customers, improved warehouse utilisation and tighter cost management are supporting margins.

For H2 FY27, the company said its focus will remain on achieving profitable growth alongside revenue expansion, supported by improvements in service levels, capacity utilisation and operating cost management. It also expects festive-season demand to support growth in Q3 FY27, with the automotive, electronics, heavy engineering and e-commerce sectors contributing to volume expansion.
