CMA CGM will add Iskenderun in southern Türkiye to its MEDEX service from Week 42, beginning October 12, 2026, introducing a direct maritime link between the region, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
The revised service rotation will connect Iskenderun with Beirut, Jeddah, Duqm, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Colombo and Djibouti. The first vessel to operate the updated rotation will be CMA CGM TOSCA.
The new call will provide exporters in southern Türkiye with direct access to major cargo hubs in India, including Mundra and Nhava Sheva, while connecting regional trade flows with markets across the Middle East and South Asia.
MEDEX Service to Support Reefer Exports
The revised service is also expected to support seasonal refrigerated cargo exports from Türkiye, particularly apples and citrus, to destinations in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
By adding Iskenderun to the rotation, CMA CGM will provide an additional maritime option for exporters in southern Türkiye seeking connections to India and other regional markets.
The MEDEX rotation will link ports across the eastern Mediterranean, Red Sea, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, supporting cargo movements between Türkiye, the Middle East and South Asia.
