Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for dry dock repairs of DCI vessels.
The agreement was signed on September 7, for a period of five years. Under the contract, DCI vessels will undergo dry dock repairs at CSL’s facilities across India.
This partnership will focus on dry dock repairs of DCI vessels, efficient vessel maintenance, strengthening ship repair capabilities, supporting timely repair and maintenance activities, and enhancing the operational readiness of DCI’s fleet.
The companies function under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The MoU was signed by senior officials representing both organizations.
