DP World has opened its latest warehouse in Johor, Malaysia, marking another milestone in the expansion of its integrated logistics network across Southeast Asia.

What does the new Johor facility offer?

Located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, the new 11,514 square metre dedicated warehouse strengthens DP World’s ability to deliver agile, efficient and reliable contract logistics solutions for customers operating in complex, time-sensitive supply chains. The facility supports fast, secure and scalable warehousing and inbound logistics operations while strengthening connectivity between Malaysia, Singapore and key regional trade corridors.

What are DP World’s broader plans for Malaysia?

The Johor warehouse is the first of two facilities planned for the country, with a second warehouse in Kuala Lumpur scheduled to open later this year, further strengthening DP World’s ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing logistics markets.

What did DP World leadership say about the expansion?

Jeanie Tan, Chief Commercial Officer, Logistics, Asia Pacific at DP World, said the opening of the Johor warehouse marks an important step in strengthening the company’s growing logistics footprint across Southeast Asia. She said continued investment in strategic logistics assets across the region, connected to DP World’s existing network of ports and terminals, is enhancing the company’s ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions that help customers move goods more efficiently, reliably and resiliently. Tan added that the facility will accelerate DP World’s Southeast Asia growth and build the capacity needed to support customers’ long-term success.

What other warehouse launches are planned across the region?

In addition to the two facilities in Malaysia, DP World is launching warehouses in the Philippines and Thailand before the end of the year, as part of its strategy to build an integrated contract logistics network across Southeast Asia offering customers greater connectivity, operational flexibility and supply chain resilience.

How does this fit into DP World’s wider Asia Pacific expansion?

These investments build on a series of recent milestones across the broader region, including the opening of DP World’s first warehouse in Singapore in May 2025, which has since achieved TAPA FSR certification, alongside new logistics facility openings in Hong Kong, Sydney and Icheon, South Korea.

What does this mean for DP World’s integrated supply chain platform?

Together with DP World’s network of 16 ports and terminals across the Asia Pacific, its expanding contract logistics platform is creating a seamlessly connected supply chain ecosystem that integrates ports, warehousing and inland transport through its air, Ocean, LCL, and intermodal freight services, positioning the company to deliver more agile, resilient and efficient end-to-end logistics solutions while supporting trade growth across Southeast Asia.
