Driver Logistics has commissioned an 80,000 sq ft Mother Hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, for ATC Tires AP Pvt. Ltd., a Yokohama Group company. The facility will serve as a central storage and distribution hub for Yokohama’s off-highway and passenger car tyre businesses, supporting both domestic and export markets.

Hub to support tyre storage and distribution

The Visakhapatnam facility will handle warehousing and distribution of Yokohama’s off-highway tyre (OHT) brands as well as passenger car tyres.

The hub is designed for large-volume storage and dispatch operations, including full truckload and part truckload movements. It will support the distribution of tyres to domestic markets while also facilitating export shipments.

Location connects manufacturing with export markets

The Mother Hub is located to support ATC Tires AP’s manufacturing operations in the Atchutapuram industrial area near Visakhapatnam.

Its proximity to the manufacturing facility is expected to reduce transit requirements between production and storage. The location also provides access to Visakhapatnam’s port infrastructure, supporting the movement of off-highway tyres to international markets.

Digital systems support inventory management

Driver Logistics operates the facility using integrated Transport Management Systems (TMS) and SAP/ERP connectivity.

The digital systems enable real-time inventory visibility and support coordination across storage, dispatch and transportation operations.

Facility expands Driver Logistics’ Andhra Pradesh footprint

The Visakhapatnam Mother Hub forms part of Driver Logistics’ broader strategy to develop connected logistics infrastructure across India.

The facility adds warehousing capacity to Andhra Pradesh’s manufacturing and export ecosystem, linking tyre production, storage, road transportation and port connectivity through a single logistics operation.
