DTDC launches Bharat One Hub, a new logistics facility in Rathiwas, Haryana

1.5 lakh sq. ft. facility with 2,500-tonne daily processing capacity strengthens DTDC’s North India network

DTDC Express Ltd. has launched the DTDC Bharat One Hub at Rathiwas, Haryana, as part of its ongoing investment in logistics infrastructure. Strategically located to serve Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Haryana and adjoining markets, the facility is aimed at improving freight movement, mid-mile connectivity and processing capacity for businesses across North India.

Facility details

Spread across 1.5 lakh sq. ft., the hub has a peak processing capacity of 2,500 tonnes per day and is operated by a workforce of over 150 trained professionals. It is equipped with advanced sorter systems, a multi-conveyor belt setup, hydraulic dock infrastructure and enhanced dock utilisation capabilities, designed to speed up freight consolidation and improve turnaround times as volumes grow.

The facility will function as a key transit hub within DTDC’s network, aimed at improving shipment flow across Delhi-NCR and major North-bound corridors by reducing transit bottlenecks and optimising route efficiency. The company said the added capacity will also strengthen network resilience during seasonal demand peaks.

Abhishek Chakraborty, CEO, DTDC, said India’s next phase of commerce growth would depend on the strength of its logistics infrastructure, particularly as businesses expand into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. He described the Bharat One Hub as a step toward strengthening the company’s network and operational agility, calling it an investment in the logistics backbone needed to support India’s growth.

Part of Vision 2030 strategy

The Bharat One Hub is part of DTDC’s Vision 2030 strategy to expand its nationwide logistics network through continued investment in infrastructure, automation and operational efficiency.

DTDC’s network currently includes over 16,500 customer access points, more than 500 operating facilities, and covers 96% of India’s population. The company said the new hub will further expand this network’s capacity and reach.
