Globe Moving Appoints Smartya Majumder as Country Head – Sales

Globe Moving has appointed Smartya Majumder as Country Head – Sales as the workforce and workplace mobility and relocation solutions provider seeks to expand its sales operations, revenue base and customer-focused mobility offerings.

The appointment was announced on September 22, 2026, in Bengaluru. Majumder brings more than 19 years of experience spanning the logistics and telecom/mobile industries, with experience in sales leadership, business development, revenue growth and team management.

Before joining Globe Moving, Majumder served as Vice President – National Sales & Marketing Head at Trackon. His earlier roles include senior leadership positions at TNT India Pvt. Ltd., Samsung Electronics, Vivo Mobile India, DHL–Blue Dart Express and DTDC.

In his new role, Majumder will oversee Globe Moving’s sales strategy and support business expansion across its mobility and logistics operations. He will be based at the company’s Bengaluru corporate office and will report to the Directors.

Education and experience

Majumder is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), Kolkata, where he completed an MBA. He has also completed Visionary Leadership Training from IIM Mumbai.

His appointment comes as Globe Moving focuses on strengthening its leadership capabilities and developing its organisational structure to support its evolving business priorities.
