Skyways Air Services AEO-LO Status Restored by Competent Authority

Skyways Air Services Limited has announced the restoration of its Authorised Economic Operator – Logistics Operator (AEO-LO) status following a review by the competent authority.

The company said its AEO-LO certification was restored with immediate effect through a communication dated August 21, 2026, after the authority reviewed the detailed response and submissions made by Skyways.

The AEO-LO status had been temporarily suspended on May 14, 2026. With the withdrawal of the suspension, Skyways said it currently holds a valid AEO-LO certification and continues to conduct its operations without disruption.

What is AEO-LO status?

Authorised Economic Operator – Logistics Operator (AEO-LO) certification is granted by Indian Customs under the framework of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).

The certification is intended for logistics operators that meet prescribed standards relating to customs compliance, supply-chain security and operational processes. AEO status can provide eligible operators with customs facilitation measures, including priority clearances, reduced physical examinations and deferred payment of duties in applicable cases.

For logistics companies involved in international trade, these measures can support faster cargo movement and reduce delays associated with customs procedures.
