Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, held a meeting with Dr Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), to discuss the proposed Satellite Skill Development Centre at VOC Port under the existing MoU between VOCPA and GSV.
The discussions focused on finalising industry-oriented courses and training programmes for working professionals, along with programme delivery, implementation modalities and operational arrangements.
The initiative aims to create new opportunities for skill development and capacity building in the maritime and logistics sector.
