The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has approved a 200-acre multimodal logistics park at Tappal-Bajna and initiated planning for an industrial node spanning around 8,000 hectares south of Noida International Airport.
The decisions were taken at YEIDA’s 93rd board meeting as the authority advances plans to develop the Jewar region as a manufacturing, logistics and trade hub.
What will the Tappal-Bajna logistics park offer?
The proposed multimodal logistics park will support warehousing, cargo movement, supply chain services and related industrial activities in the airport region.
Its location near Noida International Airport is intended to support businesses handling export-oriented and time-sensitive cargo, while providing logistics operators with dedicated infrastructure for storage and cargo movement.
What is planned for the 8,000-hectare industrial node?
YEIDA is preparing a master plan for the proposed industrial node to the south of Noida International Airport.
The development is expected to provide land and supporting infrastructure for industrial projects, with the broader objective of expanding the region’s manufacturing base, creating employment and strengthening supply-chain connectivity around the airport.
What else did the YEIDA board approve?
The board also approved the YEIDA Corpus Fund Investment Regulation 2026-27.
How does the project fit into Jewar’s wider development?
The logistics park and proposed industrial node add to a wider pipeline of infrastructure and industrial projects planned around Noida International Airport.
Earlier, YEIDA approved an industrial node and a 20-acre international trade city near the airport to support manufacturing and wholesale trade. The region is also planned to connect with the Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, along with rail connectivity to national freight and transport corridors.
Other planned developments include the Global Film City, Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) and a semiconductor park. Together, these projects are intended to build an integrated industrial and logistics ecosystem around the airport.
