APM Terminals Pipavav has appointed Zeeshan Mukhi as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), strengthening the terminal’s commercial leadership as it works to expand customer engagement and cargo business.
Commercial responsibilities
Mukhi will oversee the terminal’s commercial activities, including customer relationships, business development and initiatives aimed at increasing cargo volumes. His role will also involve strengthening partnerships with shipping lines, exporters, importers and logistics stakeholders.
APM Terminals Pipavav operations
APM Terminals Pipavav handles container, bulk and liquid cargo and supports trade flows connecting India’s western coast with domestic and international markets. The terminal is part of APM Terminals, the global port and terminal operating arm of A.P. Moller-Maersk.
The appointment follows a recent rail milestone for the terminal. On September 16, APM Terminals Pipavav handled its first double-stack Python block rake to ICD Dadri in partnership with CONCOR. The service carried 338 TEUs for a single shipping line.
